Mickey Pumpkin Oreo Pops — The Cutest Disney Halloween Treat! 🎃

If you’re anything like me, nothing says fall magic quite like a Disney Mickey Pumpkin! That smiling orange face on Main Street instantly gives me all the cozy autumn feels. It’s the symbol of Halloween at Disneyland — and now, you can bring that same Disney magic home with these adorable Mickey Pumpkin Oreo Pops! 🍪✨

A Taste of Disneyland Halloween at Home

Halloween time at Disneyland is hands-down my favorite season to visit. From the spooky-sweet snacks to the glowing Mickey pumpkins decorating every lamppost, the park feels absolutely enchanting. The giant Mickey Pumpkin on Main Street U.S.A. is the ultimate photo spot — and the inspiration behind this delicious homemade treat!

Since I can’t be at Disneyland every day (I wish!), I love making Disney-inspired desserts at home. These Mickey Pumpkin Oreo Pops are a fun, easy, and totally Instagram-worthy way to capture that Disney Halloween spirit right in your own kitchen.

The Secret to Perfect Candy Melts 🍬

Let me introduce you to my kitchen hero — the Chocolate Melting Pot. This little gadget is a lifesaver when it comes to melting candy melts evenly and keeping them smooth.

💡 Super Cool Tip:

Add a spoonful of vegetable shortening to your candy melts! It helps thin the consistency so you can dip your Oreos perfectly without clumps or cracks. Smooth candy coating = happy Mickeys!

Ingredients You’ll Need:

How to Make Mickey Pumpkin Oreo Pops

  1. Melt your candy melts.
Add a bag of orange candy melts to your melting pot and let them melt slowly. Once mostly melted, add another bag and about a tablespoon of vegetable shortening. Stir occasionally until smooth and shiny (this takes about 45 minutes).

  2. Assemble the Oreos.
Carefully twist apart a Double-Stuffed Oreo. Add a small dab of melted candy where Mickey’s “ears” will go, then attach two Mini Oreos on top. Seal with more candy melt “glue.”

  3. Add the stick.
Dip the tip of your lollipop stick in the melted candy, then gently press it into the Oreo filling. Sandwich the other Oreo half back on top to secure it.

  4. Chill and dip.
Place your Mickey pops on a parchment-lined baking sheet and chill in the fridge for 15 minutes. Once firm, dip each pop into your orange candy melts, turning slowly to let the excess drip off.

  5. Decorate the faces.
Once the candy shell hardens, use your edible pens to draw Mickey’s pumpkin face!

    • Yellow pen for eyes, nose, and mouth

    • Brown pen for pumpkin lines

    • Black pen to outline and add depth

  6. Display and enjoy!
Arrange your finished Mickey Pumpkin Oreo Pops on a platter, cake pop stand, or even in a cute fall jar filled with rice or candy corn.
